Smashburgers with Caramelized Onions and Garlic Aioli

We call my brother-in-law “The Burger Guy,” because he’s pretty much obsessed with burgers. Honestly. He’d eat them for every meal if he could. Naturally, I made it my mission to make a burger that’s the best he’s ever eaten. We did a pretty good job with the normal burgers, but I think this fancy one tops them all. It has some extra prep, but it’s worth it, and comes together in about 20-25 minutes. It’s always a hit as a weeknight meal for our fam, and I make sure to serve it alongside some French fries (the frozen kind…I don’t make those, too!).
